Tujuan penelitian: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengungkap pemikiran Harun Nasution tentang sumber hukum Islam Al-Qur’an dan Hadits. Metode penelitian: Kualitatif. Hasil penelitian : Terdapat kekeliruan pada pemikiran-pemikiran Harun Nasution tentang sumber hukum dalam Islam, yakni al-Qur’ān dan hadīts. Demikian juga terdapat kekeliruan pada pemikiran-pemikiran Harun Nasution di dalam menggambarkan perbedaan pendapat para ulama seputar sumber-sumber hukum di dalam Islam. Sehingga menimbulkan image dari apa yang beliau sampaikan itu bahwasanya sumber-sumber hukum di dalam Islam bukanlah sesuatu yang baku.
